Rules & objective
Play on dark squares of an 8×8 board. Men move one diagonal step forward and capture forward over an adjacent enemy; men may capture kings. Any available capture forbids every quiet move. Choose any complete legal sequence, not necessarily the longest and without king priority, but continue with the same piece until no capture remains. Reaching the far rank crowns a man and ends its turn, with no immediate king continuation. Preview squares or select a whole route before confirming. Hints use bounded search, not a guaranteed win. Reselect before confirmation; illegal input is rejected without penalties. Undo restores a decision, Reset keeps this game, New starts another. No pieces/no legal move loses. Our automatic threefold board/turn draw replaces a referee claim; no tournament clock or touch penalties.
English/American: twelve men each on three rows. Kings move one diagonal step and jump only an adjacent enemy to the immediately following empty square. Confirm the complete multiple jump; crowning ends the turn. Dark (WCDF Red) starts every game. American Checkers is the same entry. Automatic draw after 80 complete turns with neither capture nor movement of an uncrowned man (40 each); no referee claim is required here.
Controls
Play directly on the cards or board with mouse or touch. Coordinate selectors are optional keyboard aids.
Worked example
An English king moves a single diagonal step rather than flying. If a capture is available, a quiet move is not legal.
