Rules & objective
Capture one equal-valued card before any equal-sum set; captures are compulsory. Most hearts, 7♥, most cards and the best four-suit prime each score 1; a sweep scores 1. Prime weights: 7=21, 6=18, A=16, 5=15, 4=14, 3=13, 2=12, K=10, Q=9, J=8. Target 16; a loser below 8 gives a double victory. This edition keeps king-heavy openings and excludes a sweep on the final play.

Capture a single equal-value table card when available. Otherwise consider combinations totaling the played value, not Escoba’s total of fifteen.
