Rules & objective
Start off-board at 0 and follow the serpentine numbers 1–100. Roll once per turn; any number enters, and six gives no bonus. Only your landing square triggers a jump: a ladder foot climbs to its top, a snake head slides to its tail. Passing over them does nothing. Pieces may share a square; no captures. Reach 100 exactly to win. In this edition an overshoot stays put, without bouncing. Roll for the starter; tied highest rollers repeat. This independent exact-finish adaptation replaces the spinner with a six-sided die and uses our original snake/ladder layout. It is a chance race: computers simply roll and move, with no artificial difficulty levels.
Controls
Play directly on the cards or board with mouse or touch. Coordinate selectors are optional keyboard aids.
Worked example
A snake or ladder triggers only when you land on its starting square, not when passing it. Reaching one hundred also requires the exact count.
