Rules & objective
Use 52 cards without jokers. Cut for first dealer: low rank wins, Ace low, King high; equal ranks require a reshuffle and new cuts. Dealers then alternate hands. Pone cuts the pack; deal six each alternately, starting with pone. Each discards two into the dealer’s four-card crib. Only then pone cuts the remaining 40 cards for a starter. A jack starter awards dealer two immediately. Pone leads pegging. Ace is 1, face cards 10, others their rank; play one card without exceeding 31. Play if able, otherwise call Go while the other continues playable cards. Fifteen and 31 score two each. Consecutive trailing equal ranks score pair 2, triple 6, quadruple 12. The longest trailing run of at least three distinct consecutive ranks scores its length, in any order, with no duplicate runs in pegging. When both cannot continue, the last player scores one and the count resets; the other leads. A 31 gets two but no extra last-card point. The final card of the hand gets one unless it makes 31. Then score pone’s hand, dealer’s hand, dealer’s crib, each with the same starter: every fifteen combination two, every pair two, all combinations of the longest runs by length. Four same-suit hand cards score four, or five with matching starter; crib flush requires all five. A jack held in hand or crib matching the starter suit adds one. Reaching or passing 121 wins immediately in any phase; later counts are not added. Cut depth does not reveal deck order. Choices and hints preview before confirmation. This is untimed casual play with automatic scoring, without optional muggins or tournament error penalties. Local handoff hides cards until the next player confirms viewing. Undo/redo restore actual actions; computer undo includes its replies after your last action. Restart preserves the same random match.
Controls
Play directly on the cards or board with mouse or touch. Coordinate selectors are optional keyboard aids.
Worked example
Reaching fifteen during pegging scores two; plays may not take the running total above thirty-one. Pegging and later hand scoring are separate phases.
