36 cards: 6<7<8<9<10<J<Q<K<A. Deal six each; 2–4 play individually clockwise. Lowest dealt trump opens the first hand; without one, dealer’s left. Later the last card-holder deals; their left opens. Lead equal-rank cards together; additions must match a rank already in attack or cover cards. At most six attacks, never more than the defender’s initial hand. Cover with higher same suit or trump; trump needs higher trump. Choosing pickup takes every attack/cover, including further additions. Cover everything and all attackers pass: discard it; defender leads next. Pickup skips that defender. Main attacker has priority, then clockwise; renew priority after new covers. Refill attacker first, others clockwise, defender last; exposed trump is the last draw. Once stock ends, empty hands leave. Judge only at bout end: last holding cards loses; all empty is a draw. No trump-six swap, teams or five-card first-bout cap here. Transfer edition: before any card in this bout has been covered, the defender may add one or more matching-rank cards and send the whole attack clockwise to the next player. That player must have enough hand cards for every transferred attack, still at most six. Any cover locks transfers for the entire bout. Refill starts with the original attacker, then clockwise, with the final defender last unless that defender was the original attacker. No show-only trump pass card or later transfer after covers.

Worked example
Before defending, a same-rank card may transfer the attack if the next defender has sufficient capacity. Once covering begins, transfer is restricted.
